Chevron-night

History

Broaddus Petroleum is a compilation of lessons learned by Scott W. Broaddus, Jr. (Bill), from his father Scott W. Broaddus. Bill is a product of a dad that grew up in Oklahoma during the Great Depression of the 1930's. Bill learned the value of education, honesty and hard work from his dad. With these lessons, Bill went to work for his dad at Tarrytown Gulf in 1975. In 1977 Bill was given a great opportunity to buy the business at Tarrytown when his dad retired. After years of operating the single station in West Austin twelve to fifteen hours a day, Bill began a slow and steady expansion by adding Townlake Gulf in 1983. Bill continued the expansion and operated as a Gulf dealer for several years until he was appointed as a Chevron jobber in 1989 and Broaddus Petroleum Corporation was formed. Over the years Bill has acquired and built several additional stations that are now company or dealer operated with the Chevron and Texaco brands.

Broaddus Petroleum Corporation has been pleased to add many new locations as retail partner operations in the Central Texas area. That desire for expansion is still alive today as we search for new retail partners with our same commitment to provide high quality products and services to the people of Texas.
